This afternoon at project native.
After work I worked on the new garden in front of the house. Then went out without my camera. I saw a hot air balloon, people using metal detectors and carnival rides.
As promised.
More later today. I promise.
The rain finally cleared for a little while. The cat came home.
Big big big props to the superest seniors ever. Congrats to Kate and Ajay for getting their B.A.s!
Sometimes I have to go out looking for pictures. Sometimes they just happen.
Took a trip to Saratoga Springs today. Drank the spring water. Now will be young forever.
Picked this one late last summer at Farm Girl Farm in South Egremont, MA.
Still sitting on top of the microwave at 32 Hart.
I went back to my old place of work this morning, Project Native in Housatonic, to take pictures of the flowers and ferns livening up again after a long winter. The plant sales begin again this weekend, and alas, I will not be working there. But I’ll surely be there taking pictures all summer. Off to apply to a Xicoh and Baba Louie’s, hang out with Kate in the ceramics studio and then get ready for family dinner. Yeah family dinner!
Okay, I recognize that, perhaps, I went too far with flower petals in the rain, but recall that, in the grand spectrum, it only balances out the washed-up dead sea turtle picture from months ago.
I hope all is well in San Miguel. I was ready to join you all down there again yesterday after two days of rain and cloudy grey skies. But today is a beautiful spring day, and I’m glad to be here again.
On the side of the road on the way back from Lenox today.
Kate played Ms.PacMan on her cell phone while I struggled with the double lenses, crouching, wobbling, trying to take pictures of this tiny plant. This was the last picture I took.
Taken in Lenox. I apologize for the lack of posting. It has been raining for two days. Welcome back to New England.
The New Blog, Spring, Some Old Pictures
Hello everyone. I decided to switch over to blogsome again. The title may change, but the URL will always be http://jamieg.blogsome.com from now on.
I’m back in Housatonic, Massachusetts. I’m really enjoying the lens trick Marshall showed me right before I left San Miguel, letting me experiment with macro for the first time. It is spring here, in full force, and I am very excited about all the flowers and pictures I get to take!
Down below are some of the old photos, just a few I decided to bring over to the new blog.
Also, just click on "from Mexico" in the categories on the right side of this page to see all of the posts from Mexico.
HoUSAtonic. A quick walk ’round the corner with Rachel this afternoon. On the way to the post office.
By the Train Station and the abandoned building behind the fire department, next to the water tower.
